Today was a long day. And it's only 10:15am. I needed to wake up early to go get another vaccination before my trip to Haiti in February. So I arrived there at 8:30am only to be shot up with another dose of TwinRx and pay $95. I then made my way to the dentist after a long absence due to a number of reasons.
After I was finished I needed to wait for my dentist to come and do her final check. Now I don't know about you but I have an awesome dentist and her staff are wonderful. they always treat me with the greatest kindness and I usually walk away with a new toothbrush (I think they are trying to tell me something)!
Do you ever wonder if perhaps God sometimes acts in similar ways to a dentist? I mean seriously. They are paid to clean our teeth, remove filth and grime, and then encourage you to keep yourself clean.
Sometimes I feel like God is my dentist. I go to him for examination, cleaning, and encouragement.
Just some random thoughts from the dentist chair. Where in your everyday life do you see God?
